My name is Uni, and I was born and raised on Flores, one of the most beautiful islands in Indonesia. Flores is my home: an island full of volcanoes, rice fields, waterfalls, traditional villages, rich culture, and warm-hearted people. As a local guide, I love showing visitors the real Flores — not only the famous places, but also the stories, traditions, and hidden gems that you can only discover through someone who truly knows the island.

For me, guiding is more than taking people from one place to another. I want travellers to feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. Along the way, I enjoy sharing stories about daily life on Flores, local customs, nature, and the places that are special to me personally.

Over the years, I have had the chance to meet many travellers from different parts of the world. Some of them have become more than guests, they have become friends.

What I love most about my work is connecting people with Flores and with the local way of life. My hope is that you do not only return home with beautiful photos, but also with real memories, warm encounters, and a deeper understanding of the island and its people.
